"Into the Shadow" draws inspiration from the concept of 'Shadow Work' by the psychiatrist and mystic - Carl Jung - whose teachings delve into the realms of the mind, spirit, and the collective unconscious. Jung's exploration of the shadow self emphasises the importance of confronting and integrating the darker aspects of our psyche to achieve a holistic and balanced existence. As long as we feel victimised, bitter and resentful towards our wound, and seek to escape from suffering it, we remain inescapably bound to it.

ABOUT SAGE
​​When I first sought therapy I struggled to find a therapist who could provide an engaging approach. I encountered numerous white walls and tedious styles of talk-therapy. Although these practitioners meant well, it didn't align. I wanted creativity, curse words and a practice that acknowledged the body and spirit. ​​From my experiences and interests, I founded a business that provides a space for people to comfortably talk without a mask or filter.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in creativity, authenticity & assertive compassion. I utilise a range of modalities, including gestalt counselling, solution-focused, psychodrama, hypnotherapy, energy healing & trauma informed practices to tailor my approach to each individual.
